RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Our Returns Policy is in addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Law.

Hot Body does not offer exchanges or refunds on sale or discounted items.

In Store Purchase Returns Policy
We DO NOT offer refunds for any in-store purchase. We can onlyĀ provide exchanges orĀ store credit within 7 days of original purchase date granted the garment meets the below conditions:

  • Proof of purchase provided
  • Tags attached
  • Garment in original condition, including unworn and unwashed

Please make sure that swimwear is tried on over your own underwear. In the interests of hygiene, we may refuse returns of items where it's obvious that this hasn't been done.

Online Store Returns Policy
If your item purchased onĀ hotbodyswimwear.co.nzĀ is not the right fit, you are entitled to an exchange or refund within 7 days of receipt should it meet the below requirements:

  • Proof of purchase provided
  • Tags attached
  • Garment in original condition, including unworn and unwashed

  • Returned items not received in their original state will be automatically returned to the customer.
  • Returned items are eligible for a full refund, minus shipping costs.Ā If yourĀ original purchase was eligible for free shipping, a $9.95 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.Ā 

To submit an online return request, please use our customer portal. This is accessible by clicking the 'account' link at the top of our website. You can also print our returns formĀ and send in with your order if you prefer.

ToĀ submit an online return via the customer portal:

  • Login to your account - you will be asked to verify your account with a 6 digit code sent to your email at this stage.
  • Once logged in with your code, click the order you want to submit a return request for. If your order has more than one item, click only the item(s) you wish to return.
  • Select a reason for your return and/or add a note to our staff.
  • Click 'request return'
  • If your return request is approved, you will be required to send your product(s) back to us. Once we have recieved your item(s) your refund will be processed back to your original payment method.

Postage of Exchange or Refund
Hot Body does not accept responsibility of customer sent return or exchange packages; so it is advised that when delivery returns or exchanges that meet the above required criteria, customers should select a service that provides tracking.

Return shipping is not paid by Hot Body SwimwearĀ 


PLEASE NOTE:Ā Duty, tax and/or delivery costs incurred on an exchange or refund order is at the customersā€™ expense and cannot be refunded unless deemed faulty by a Hot Body Representative.

Online Purchase Refund Payments
Refunds for online orders will be processed in the method as the original payment within 5 business days of Hot Body receiving the return parcel. Notification will be sent to the nominated email address at the time of this transaction.

PLEASE NOTE: Hot BodyĀ cannot be held accountable for banking institution processing timeframes.

Exchanges or Replacements
Hot Body offers exchanges and/or replacements that meet the required criteria for another size, colour or item; subject to product availability. These will be processed within 5 business days of receipt and notification of this transaction will be provided to the nominated email address.

Different Value Exchange
Should the item requested for exchange be different value as that of the product being returned, one of two scenarios will occur:

  1. A variance where payment is owed to the customer will be refunded as per the original order payment method.
  2. Ā A variance where payment is owed to Hot Body, a Customer Service Representative will contact the customer prior to processing and dispatch to take additional payment


In Store ExchangesĀ 
The Hot Body, Newmarket store can process exchanges for the same value only and accept products for store credit, should the item meet the requirements as listed above. Should your requested exchange item be at a different value,Ā the variance will be applied to a store credit gift card, which can be used on any future Hot Body Swimwear purchase online or in-store within 3 months of being issued.Ā
